Food Distribution Project - Greg Walton
We’ve been working together with local village leaders to access widows, the elderly and families in crisis or those with special needs children. We initiated a food project for the rural villages in our area. Each day we manage to visit 2-3 villages, in total we have been able to bless over 1,000 people in over 35 villages. Once we arrive at the rural site, we extend a long rope from the back of our truck; which has been measured with 6 feet markings as per the social distancing required. All recipients have to wear a mask and present appropriate identification. In many locations we also went house-to-house to give out the food bags.
